Shot 1 of the 30 Photo Challenge was a self-portrait shot. I chose to try the photo in a Rembrandt lighting style shoot.

The first shot of my 30 Photo Challenge was a self-portrait shot.

I chose to try the shot in a Rembrandt lighting style.

See the video of today’s shoot below:

It’s not the first time I have tried Rembrandt lighting style, but I wanted to give it a go with only one light in a new location.

The shoot was full of challenges. Things were breaking and or not cooperating, but you have to deal with what you are dealt with and get the job done.

In the end, I got the shot I wanted, and I am happy with the result.

Shoot details:

Camera: Canon 80D
Lens: 50mm 1.8
Exposure: 1/80 2.8 ISO 100 WB: K5200
Flash: Zoom: 24mm at 1/16

Next shot: Bokeh Photography – Looking forward to this one. Got some fun ideas for it; hopefully, it will come up as hoped.
