Smile You’re a Genius

Today, my paper screen protector arrived from Amazon. I had spent some time researching the best and most budget-friendly options, and this one came highly recommended as “Amazon’s Pick.”

Excited to try it out, I applied the cover and, as soon as I had a moment, sat down to put it to the test. I started experimenting with different brushes, feeling out the texture.

I am still a beginner when it comes to Procreate and drawing on the iPad. It’s all about learning, experimenting, and figuring things out as I go.

With no real plan, I pulled up an image from Pinterest and just let the process flow… scribbling, blurring, layering, and seeing where it would take me.

The end result? It is ugly. It is meaningless. But it is the first piece created with this new paper-like feel, and I wanted to save it here for later as a marker in the process.

Every step, no matter how small, is part of the journey.
